Exemplos.

Podemos clasificar os colaxes en dous tipos:

_ Cando os elementos que empregamos teñen a función de encher unha determinada superficie sen importar o seu significado. Exemplo. Os elementos recortados non teñen unha funcionalidade representativa.

_ Cando os elementos que adherimos a superficie cumpren unha función de representar. Creando así, unha nova imaxe ou obra composta dun conxunto doutras imaxes de orixe diversa, sen anular a súa función de remitir a algo concreto. Exemplo.

Exercicio:

1) En grupos de tres, tendes que formar un "zoolóxico" empregando a técnica do colaxe. Para iso tedes que recortar siluetas de diferentes animais que teredes que ubicar nun soporte.

2) Deseña un persnoaxe "extraterrestre" empregando a técnica do collage. Posteriormente fai unha descrición do personaxe creado. Neste exercicio é importante que os elementos que empregues non perdan a súa función representativa.

Exemplo

We can classify collages into two groups:

- In one case the meaning of the image that we use to cut and paste is not relevant. It has mainly a aesthetic function .Ex.

- In the other group, the meaning of the elements of images that we use are really significant. Ex.

Exercise:

1) Using a group of animal shapes as a resource ( 1) , cut out some shapes of your favorite animals. After that, paste them in a new paper an draw a place form them. These collages will be an example of a collage from the first group.

2) Design a "strange person" using a collage technique. Then write a description of your creation. This time  the meaning of the images are really important. Ex.
